I left my ex-neighbour's house at 1130pm yesterday and they were commenting about the strong winds and red sky. On the 13th storey we could hear doors after doors slamming after the strong winds. I saw the sky turn from black to red within half an hour.

It was so hot when I left the house, so I was in my fbt and sphag. That was like the one in a million chance I didn't bring along my cardigan or jacket. Aloha, there I was on the roads when "the strongest winds hit Singapore in 9 years".

"A wind speed of up to 83 kilometres per hour was recorded -- the strongest in nearly nine years...The NEA says the strong winds were caused by a Sumatra squall, named as such because the storm usually develops overnight in Sumatra and the Strait of Malacca, before sweeping into Singapore between midnight and daybreak. NEA says such storms usually occur between April and September. For the rest of the month, expect another one or two Sumatra squalls, but they are unlikely to be as severe as the one on Wednesday night".

Well done, out of 7 nights I just had to choose to leave my house on that particular night.

As you would have realised, I'm just trying to blog even the most trivial stuff, so that those unhappy posts go away! IT is giving me zero motivation, I can't wait for the exam period to vanish.
